Stretching my lens
Yeah, I'm having fun with my new toy... the weather hasn't been terribly cooperative (though I've learned a lot more about white balance) but there've been a few interesting sites.

 | I still haven't had an actual starry night with which to test my "starry night" setting, but I got some interesting results using it on almost unlit landscape. The foreground light is from the house; the sky light is the glow of Hilo. |
 | Speaking of the backyard, both the cats and chickens have gotten bolder recently, I think. I'm not sure why the cat chose, after I took this, to retreat instead of going after the chickens, but maybe it only chases younger ones. |
 | It was on top of the East Hawai'i Cultural Center. Is it art? |
