Max in March
One of the big events at Max's school is their annual "walk-a-lap" fundraiser. Last year it got delayed twice for rain: this year it was beautiful weather the first time.
Here we are, at the start of the day, fresh and ready. Max has school shirts, but for an event like this, he prefers to dress up.
Max, towards the end. Each punch in his card is one lap, which is half a mile. Max made 10 laps, altogether.
This stump is one of Max's favorite spots along the route.
Max got ahead of us sometimes. He's still talking about how he and his friends "crossed the street themselves" at the parking lot entrance (with supervision).
Aside from his Aloha wear, Max's tie-die shirt is probably his favorite piece of clothing, particularly with the orange shorts.
Doing a 200 piece puzzle for the first time at the rental cottage.
Exploring the woods around his school.
Up in the tree at school, with his friend Elijah.
Trying on the sweater-vest his mother was knitting (it's done now; pictures soon)
Miscellaneous Max in Motion
I don't remember what or when, but sometimes you get lucky with the smile.
It says "Don't hang on the Barres" but Max can't read yet.
As always, I think this pinata event is more fun for the parents watching than for the children, thought they also seem to get an unhealthy pleasure from the process.
Did I mention how much Max likes climbing trees. That's his good friend Lotus with him.
Sometimes, for fun and to kill time, Max will measure.
