Love a parade! A few old pictures from early December to start off the new year! Sorry about the hiatus, but what with the travel, and the first week of classes, this is the first night in a while I've had the time.

These pictures take us back to the Pahoa Holiday Parade.

	The theme this year was "Show Business" so costumes were encouraged. Doesn't take much encouragement for Max, who combined his elephant with the wolf suit crown and gnome vest to be .... Babar, I think it was. You can just see the flamingo costume next to him: that's his friend Lotus.

The last picture in this set is one I'm quite proud of: Lightning. We had a nasty thunderstorm which went on for hours, but very little rain. Just lightning. So I set up the tripod in the driveway and took bunches of shots on long exposure. This is about the best one, of a couple of successes.
